ABOUT

Sarah Urquhart (urk-hart) is an Emmy award-winning art director, designer and conceptual creative traditionally trained in graphic design. She has spent her entire career in broadcast media bringing animated life to design. As design director, she leads the art direction for all things CBS in Chicago. Her in-house team specializes in everything from motion graphic design and original series development to marketing strategy and production of both over-the-air and digital content. She started the Urk-Art blog in 2016 as a place to share DIY and design projects as well as ideas, creative inspiration and the occasional life update. Urk-Art’s mission is to inspire everyone to find art in everyday.

When she is not working or learning new things on Skillshare, Sarah binge-watches TV like the rest of humanity. She also enjoys illustrating, writing and playing video games with her fiancé. Feel free to reach out directly via the CONTACT tab above.
