A quick day long road trip can often be something to dread. Uncomfortable seats, poor radio connection and unchanging scenery for miles and miles turns into a long and dreary experience unless you have the right attitude. But there are several way to help pass the time when traveling from one adventure to the next.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Westeros! DUNNNN-DUNNNN-DA-DA-DUNNNN-DUNNNN-DADA-DUNNNNNNNN. With the new season of Game of Thrones starting again it’s a no brainer that I am absolutely giddy, so freaking excited, can’t contain myself happy. Who else cannot wait for the season opener later tonight?!?
Springtime is finally in the air! After weeks of teasing warm spells, and a blizzard last week the flowers are finally in the bloom. Feeling inspired, I did a few fashion sketches centered around flowers.
Love was in the air on March 12th 2016 when Jack Semon married Julia Cieslak in Phoenix, AZ. After meeting at a Young Life event in high school, they found each other again at the same college in Flagstaff, AZ. Shortly after, they fell in love. After two years of dating they got engaged in September in a handmade teepee with a mountainside view, and began planning a backyard wedding for March.
When I look around my house to find a fresh sketchbook I can always find a pretty hefty stack, but every single one has already been started. Being the OCD person that I am, I simply cannot use a half started sketchbook to begin a brand new series. This leaves me with two options. 1) Rip out the drawn on pages so I can start again totally fresh. Or 2) Buy another new sketchbook.
Ever since I was little I’ve been a fan of Disney movies. This series of illustrations features some of my favorite princesses that I turned into simplistic movie posters. Featured in this collection are Rapunzel from Tangled, Pocahontas from Pocahontas, Jasmine from Aladdin, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Elsa from Frozen, and Belle from Beauty And The Beast.
Last summer I was able to travel several places around the United States. Among the places I was able to visit was the Grand Canyon’s South Rim in Arizona. Despite missing the sunrise by ten minutes after waking up at 3am to drive out, the view was still amazingly breathtaking. These are some of the photographs I took before going on a two to three hour walk with my aunt along the edge.
