Yesterday was such a beautiful day people couldn’t help but spend as much time outdoors as possible. After a long lunch break of enjoying the sunny day, my boss actually let me out a half day early to enjoy the weather.  I was able to enjoy some time in Millennium Park and walk along the lake front briefly before catching a train back home just in time to miss the thunderstorms the rest of the evening. This small gallery of photos just goes to show how pretty the city of Chicago can be.

It never ceases to amaze me how just within a few blocks walk you can escape the hustle and bustle of downtown to a peaceful garden or lakeside trail.
