Time for a little new year catch-up. Here are the last 8 books I read in 2017.
With Halloween fast approaching and fall in full swing I wanted to share a really yummy festive treat! These spider web caramel apple slices are a perfect bite-sized snack for a spooky get together. Or if you are an introvert like me, they are perfect for eating alone while watching Hocus Pocus.
Halloween definitely has snuck up on me this year so I wanted a super subtle way to get into the spirit and thought that some very simple DIY chokers would be the perfect accessory for the holiday without going too overboard. The best part is that these are probably the easiest DIY I have done to date.
Literally cannot believe that it is already halfway through October! It’s my first time ever attempting to do Inktober so I’ve been trying really hard to keep up, and thought I would share my progress so far. For those who don’t know what Inktober is; it is a challenge to create an ink drawing every day in the month of October. Typically it is used as a way to break bad digital drawing habits and hone traditional skills. I’ll link to the official Inktober Site here so that you can check it out.
Well, June was a slow month as far as reading goes. I only got through two books with everything that was going on. One of those things was watching a heck of a lot of Netflix since I was recovering from getting two wisdom teeth pulled. But that isn’t to say that these books weren’t good, and that just means I have more options to pick from next month!
The two most irresistible sweets, chocolate and strawberries. Combine that with a good ol’ American flag and you have the perfect Fourth of July treat. Independence Day is only one week away, and if you are looking for an extra snack platter idea to add to your BBQ spread, this simple chocolate covered strawberry flag is your solution.
With Father’s Day right around the corner I wanted to share a fun and easy DIY project inspired from dads. Now my dad isn’t a fisherman so I’m not entirely sure how I got this idea, but he does like to eat fish, and he likes me so I figured he would probably like a handmade fish keychain. Plus they are super cute to make for yourself too.
Father’s Day is coming up right around the corner so I thought I would share with you all a list of some ideas for Father’s Day gifts. And don’t forget you can always go to a store and pick something up!
This is one of those quick, easy and fun DIY projects to do on a lazy afternoon. I didn’t even really plan this one out like I normally do. Just picked up some sharpies, white porcelain cups and got to doodling. I wanted to do a simple face design and came up with these!
Wow. This month was so good in the book department. I was super excited to get reading these titles after I picked them out and they did not disappoint one bit. I even ended up lending two of them out already for others to read, because that’s how much I liked them.
